Caring For Your Human Hair Extensions and Wigs
Washing and Maintenance:
1) Fill your sink basin with cool/lukewarm water and a cheap non abrasive shampoo. (Wig Shampoo or Dawn is fine too)
2) Swish your hair around in this soapy mixture for about a minute. Do not tease or aggravate hair while washing.
3) Empty your basin and refill with clear cool/lukewarm water and repeat.
4) Once your hair is free from shampoo, dry by rolling it up in a towel.
5) Leave to hang dry, this will retain the natural moisture of the hair.
6) When dry, spray with an Oil and Silicone Free Weave Conditioner Spray and gently brush hair from the end upward.
*Recommended Sprays:
-Avocado Oil by Next Image (in any fragrance) for Straight Textures.
-Hawaiian Silky 14 in 1, Curly Wavy by Next Image or Wave Nouveau Moisturizing lotion is recommended for Curly/Wavy Textures.
*Note: You may use heat on human hair depending on the grade, but blow drying is not recommended as it tends to significantly dry out the hair.
Night Care:
Wrap or braid hair in a loose braid. Braid to the side if you sleep on your back and to the back if you sleep on your side.
Take off wigs when sleeping.

*Note: NO HEAT UNLESS SPECIFIED. With Futura or Heat Resistance Textures you may apply the recommended heat setting with an Electric Heat Appliance. You may use rollers and setting lotion for those fibers that do not have heat resistance.

Lacefront Application and Care
Application:
1) Put on Lacefront the way you want it to sit.
2) Use an eyebrow pencil to draw a line on the lace. Draw the line to where your hairline is, but avoid cutting into the wigs hairline (this will cause shedding).
3) Then just put on the wig and make sure the combs on the inside are secure and you're good to go.
Those wishing to glue or tape
4) Make sure the lace and your skin is clean and completely dry. Use a cotton ball dipped in alcohol to wipe the lace and skin clean.
5) Flip up the lace while wearing the wig how you want it and apply the glue or double sided tape. Then flip it over and hold to secure.
Removal
6) Use Lacefront glue Remover or Alcohol to remove the wig. Once removed, make sure to clean the lace with alcohol and remove all residue. Clean your hairline and grease your edges well, the glue/tape over time can cause you to lose hair in those areas.
FAQ ABOUT HAIR
Beauty Supply Hair is mass produced and the best of brands can result in some typical issues such as tangling, shedding and frizz. Human hair is like our hair and it will tangle, 100% tangle free means it is 100% able to be detangled. Only REMY hair doesn't tangle that badly. Here's what you can do to help with these issues and what to avoid when tracking your hair.
Shedding:
Inspect the track before applying and sew through any loose areas. You can also take some super glue and glue in any spots that may be loose or shedding.
Tangling and Frizz:
The best thing to do for this issue is use a conditioning/detangling Weave spray. Try to avoid the use of Oil Sheen or silicone based Shine Sprays. Also keeping your hair clean and brushed helps tremendously deal with these issues.
WHAT NOT TO DO WHEN TRACKING HAIR:
Do not double track: that causes matting and tangling
Do not split the track: that causes shedding
Use sharp scissors to cut the track in order to prevent shedding.
CURLY HAIR TANGLING
Do NOT brush or run nails through curly hair, this will make it frizzy. Use wide tooth combs and slowly brush from bottom up.
